Get a taste of December 1769, at Old South Meeting House and in the town of Boston. Try on an item of replica 18th-century clothing, and sit in a 1769-style “family pew” with a portable footwarmer. Investigate an original item from our collections or try out a popular colonial American game, then use clues to search for the homes of early Old South Meeting House church members on a 1769 Boston street map! Peruse new information from a recent research project on African-American congregants at the Meeting House in the 18th century, including the biographical sketch of Scipio Gunney, a free African-American member of the congregation during this period. Before you go, sample seasonal teas courtesy of DAVIDsTEA, and browse our Museum Shop for unique gifts and stocking stuffers.
