6:00 – 7:00 pm: Panel Discussion on refugee resettlement 7:00 – 8:00 pm: Reception featuring refugee and immigrant advocacy organizations

Join WorldBoston for a discussion on the fundamental questions surrounding the refugee resettlement process in Massachusetts. Who will be resettled in the Commonwealth? How is Massachusetts chosen as their destination? How does the state distribute funds to assist in the resettlement process? Which organizes manage the process of resettlement?

Our panel of experts will focus on what is being done to resettle the refugees who are already in Massachusetts or who are on their way. The panel discussion will be followed by a reception featuring refugee resettlement agencies and migrant advocacy organizations from across Massachusetts.

Guests will have the opportunity to learn more from these organizations at tables set up around the reception hall, while mingling with globally minded citizens with an interest in the refugee crisis and the process of resettlement in their home state.
