Join Gordon Hanlon, head of Furniture and Frame Conservation for a gallery talk on the reinstallation of two British period interiors from Newland House and Hamilton Palace. These rooms were de-installed during construction of the Art of Americas Wing. Gordon shares the research and systems developed for their move and reinstallation in 2014 and describes recreating a new ceiling for the Newland House drawing room based on photographic evidence.
